Project Description
We always enjoy working on classic cars because they often force us to think outside of the box! This ’55 was the first of many classics we’ve had the pleasure to be a part of. Coordinating with the owner, builder and interior shop, this install took several months and hundreds of hours to complete. We have a lot of experience with Ron Francis and Painless wiring kits for any hot rod or show car. Do you have a project you need help with? This ’55 Chevy has more amenities than most vehicles on the road today! Here are a few of the highlights: Pioneer DVH-P5000MP DVD player flush mounted behind the factory radio. We also installed a total of 4 LCD screens throughout the vehicle: one folding screen under the dashboard, two motorized headrest monitors controlled by the factory temp and defrost levers, and a screen mounted in the trunk lid. The Viper 2-way security system controlled the power windows, the audio system and the linear actuator driven taillight. We even used the factory cigarette lighter to control the electronic exhaust cutouts! The list goes on and on.
