A Little About Sounds Unique

Sounds Unique, Inc. was established in March of 2005 in Beaverton, Oregon by Ken Smith.  They specialize in car audio, video, and security with state-of-the art products, custom design & installation services, and much more.

Starting his career in 1988, Ken has more than 25 years of experience in the OEM and the aftermarket industry.  Over the years he has been an installer for a variety of major car dealerships and car audio shops in the Northwest.  Ken has a wealth of experience rarely found in today’s automotive world.

Prior to venturing out on his own, Ken met the owner of a local hot rod shop.  He was offered an opportunity to work on high-end vehicles doing custom wiring and installations.  Having observed Ken’s talent, the owner encouraged him to start his own business.  From this mentorship and a desire to set a new standard in the car audio, video, and security industry – A new business was born!
